One of the priceless things in life are times like these...
2 weekends ago Shane and our second son Gavin went on a special adventure.
(Isaac, Ruth and I had a little adventure of our own but I'll save that for another post)
Can you guess by this picture where they went?
The size of the slice is your hint.

Here's another clue:
If you haven't figured it out already, Gavin had the VERY cool opportunity to join Shane on a quick trip to Manhattan, NY to officiate and celebrate in the marriage of a former student and his beautiful bride. That privilege and all the crazy fun stuff they got to do in their brief 2 1/2 day/2 night stay is reason enough to make it a T.O.L. memory maker. (and trust me I had some serious envy issues because there is much I miss and enjoy about NYC)
Here is what I REALLY love though:
one of Gavin's favorite moments was praying in the morning with Shane.
how proud Gavin was when he told me he sat "as quiet as a mouse" during the rehearsal and ceremony.
the laughable amount of goofy face pictures and sweet smiling pictures that show how much fun they were having TOGETHER.
the blessing of a husband who makes time with his children a valuable priority.
that Gavin, above all, had his love tank filled to overflowing with the gift of QT with his Dad and, consequently, knows that he is loved.
You can't put a price tag on that.
and you can't put a price tag on this face either.
